About Balearic Power.
Balearic Power, now in its 10th year is a unique promotional summer service - from June to September - that personally delivers promos directly into the hands of all Ibiza's resident DJs, from the beach bars, to West End commercial nightspots to the biggest trendsetting clubs across the Island.
Generally we will ask the client for a fixed number of records dependent on the style of music, normally 60 CDs. We then ship these records to our operative in Ibiza. Our rep is also the resident at Coastline, which is one of the key Sunset bars and DJ meeting points. Robin has many contacts and has an excellent working relationship with all the influential players, which will prove highly beneficial to this particular record.
Our rep actually puts the tracks in the appropriate DJ’s hands and collects the feedback and reactions over the following weeks.
Each record gets treated individually and is distributed to the most relevant
jocks and venues. I.e.: A real pop record would gain much more exposure if
serviced in the West End while the more cooler tracks would be bound for Space
etc.
Our objectives will be to achieve maximum profile, credibility, support and exposure for your track/act through Club play and various other media stemming from the distribution of the record on the Island.
Power Promotions sends the stock direct to Ibiza on a weekly basis. We allow 1 week for the stock to be shipped and sorted in Ibiza.
Week 1: Stock shipped to Ibiza
Week 2: CD distribution by our representative. The DJ plays the material and
reactions are collated.
Week 3: Initial Email report from Power
Week 4: 2nd Report from Power
Week 5: Any outstanding reactions from DJ's are chased and forwarded to clients
as they come in.
